What a pawsitively adorable way to celebrate the Memorial of Saint Francis of Assisi 🐾🐶🐱! The blessing of the animals and costume contest sounded like a meow-velous time for our furry friends 🎉🐾. 🌟 Women of Faith Kickoff Event Recap
Yesterday, we joyfully launched the Women of Faith Kickoff Event at St. Michael’s, welcoming thirty-one women to a morning of spiritual connection and fellowship. Fr. Lio, Fr. Claudio, and Deacon Craig celebrated Mass with us, followed by a shared breakfast.
We were blessed to hear from Joan Donnellan, Certified Spiritual Director from the Diocese of Orange in California, who offered inspiring reflections on the lives of three remarkable women of faith.
The morning continued with small group discussions, the unveiling of our weekly meeting schedule, and the distribution of our first study: Becoming Women of the Word: How to Answer God's Call with Purpose and Joy by Sarah Christmeyer.

Vintage 1950s: Saint Michael the Archangel church, built in 1850 at Kailua-Kona, on the Island of Hawaii. This original church building was a lava rock & coral stone structure that stood for 160 years before being damaged by the 2006 Kīholo earthquake.
