Support for our Ka’u Communities
MAHALO for your prayers for our neighbors in Ka’u. Many have asked how we can support the families in our Ka‘u communities who were affected by Hurricane Lala. Help is needed throughout Ocean View, Kahuku, Waiohinu, Naalehu, Pahala, and Wood Valley, where families are still working to recover.
If you are able, please consider making a donation to help get assistance directly to those most in need. Envelopes are available in the kiosks and in the bulletin.
Several community organizations are also driving supplies out to Ka‘u daily. You can contact them directly through social media for current drop‑off locations and ways to help. Thank you for your generosity and your steadfast prayers. Please continue to keep our Ka‘u neighbors in your hearts as they rebuild with courage and hope.

Bishop Michael’s Mass of Thanksgiving has been postponed due to the anticipated severe weather. The Mass will be rescheduled for a later date, which we will announce once confirmed.
For now, please stay safe, remain vigilant, and take the necessary precautions to prepare for the storm. Let us keep one another in prayer and look out for our families, friends, and neighbors.
As of right now, the 4:00 PM Vigil Mass on Saturday is still scheduled as planned. However, please continue to monitor our social media pages for any updates or changes due to the weather.

In thanksgiving to God for the episcopal ministry of Bishop Larry Silva, who was ordained and installed as the fifth Bishop of Honolulu on July 21, 2005.
For nearly 21 years, Bishop Larry has shepherded the Diocese of Honolulu with faithfulness, humility, and love for the people of Hawaiʻi.
We give thanks for his ministry and continue to pray for him during this time of transition.

Honor | Celebrate | Inspire
We warmly invite you to join us this evening as we prayerfully begin the celebration of the **200th Anniversary of Catholicism in Hawaiʻi**. Together with Catholics across all the islands, we will gather in unity for our Opening Anniversary Mass at **6:00 PM**, giving thanks to God for two centuries of faith, missionary witness, and the enduring presence of the Catholic Church in Hawaiʻi.
This historic celebration honors the arrival of the first Catholic missionaries in 1827 and the countless faithful who have helped build and strengthen our Church through generations. May we come together in gratitude, renew our commitment to Christ, and ask for God's continued blessings upon the Church and the people of Hawaiʻi.
We hope you and your family will join us in this special Eucharistic celebration as we mark the beginning of this historic anniversary year. All are welcome.
