“Out of death into life”

For Catholics death is not the end of life but the fulfillment of new birth begun at Baptism and the eternal reward of being at home with the Lord.  While those left behind grieve the death of a loved one, Jesus has promised “they shall be comforted.”

Information on the Funeral Mass, Memorial Mass and Cremation

Here at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, we help family members plan a liturgical celebration in our Church that will be a commemoration of the loved one’s earthly life and a proclamation of their entrance into eternal life. Our funeral liturgy team guides the family in the selection of Scripture for the Liturgy of the Word, and in choosing prayers, songs, and environment that reflects the life of their loved one.

Please contact the Parish Office at (808) 326-7771 to reserve the Church for a funeral or memorial service before making arrangements with the funeral director / mortuary. We must confirm that the parish calendar is open for the funeral date you choose for your loved one.
